Julia Belle Schaver, 70, of Beaumont died Monday, September 12, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  A native of Groves, she was born October 2, 1940, to Charlie Davis Rawls and Lester Lee Rawls.  A lifelong resident of Beaumont, she was a member of the American Legion and an avid bingo player.

Survivors include her children, Greg Schaver of Beaumont, Joilene Schaver Hilton and her husband, Jay of Beaumont, Danny Rae Schaver of Beaumont, and Chad Schaver of Lumberton; grandchildren, Stephanie Gardner and her husband Adam of Lumberton, Kelsey Young of Beaumont, and Stephen Lambeth of Georgia; and great grandson, Braiden Schaver of Lumberton.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband of forty seven years, Max Louis Schaver; and two sisters.

Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 15, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  Her committal service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at Davis Cemetery in Colmesneil. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at Broussard’s.
