Jacob Leon Bridges, 20, of Fannett died Saturday, September 10, 2011, in Mauriceville.  A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont; he was born June 3, 1991, to Vickie Louise Buchanan and Robert Leon Bridges. Jacob was a 2010 graduate from Hamshire Fannett High School who loved his family, the Dallas Cowboys, and four wheeling.

Survivors include his grandparents, Sandra and Rodney Sanders of Fannett and Henry Bridges of Avant; great grandmother, Arlene Patterson of Lumberton; mother, Vickie Buchanan of Beaumont; father and step-mother, Robert and Stacy Bridges of Cheek; fiance’, Ammie Schexnider of Fannett; sisters, Suzanne Adams, Krysta Buchanan, Shayanne Buchanan, Breanne Buchanan, Haliegh Wheat, Hannah Jones , and Coral Bridges; and uncle, Chris Bridges.

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 14, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with interment to follow at China Cemetery.   A gathering of his family and friends will be from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011, at Broussard’s.
