Tina Linette Walters, 46, of Kountze, passed from this life into the loving arms of her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at her home, surrounded by her loving family. Tina was born September 15, 1964, in Channelview, Texas to Lowell Roger and Ilene (Gobert) Brown. A resident of Kountze for twenty-two years, she was the former co-owner of The Grapevine Florist in Kountze. She was a faithful member of Gateway Church and a friend to many. Tina’s love and caring spirit will be missed by us all.

Tina is survived by her loving husband of thirty-one years, Tim Walters; her children, Joey Walters and his wife, Emilie, Adam Walters and his wife, Kalyn, Sidne Aldy and her husband, Justin, and Samantha Taylor all of Kountze; father, Roger Brown and his wife, Joy of Crosby; and brother, Rodney Brown and his wife, Donna of Crosby.  She is also survived by her pride and joy, her suggababies, Jillian, Samuel and Meah Walters, along with a host of other friends and relatives.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Gateway Church, 1600 South Hwy. 69, Kountze, with Reverend Donnie West and Reverend Chad West officiating under the direction of Broussard’s in Kountze. Interment will follow at Old Hardin Cemetery. A gathering of her family and friends will be Friday, September 9, 2011, from 12:00 noon until 8:00 p.m., at the church.
