Doris Angele, 85, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at The Clairmont in Beaumont.

Born April 26, 1926, in Sugar Land, to Lilly Mae Jacobs Larsen and Einar Larsen; she had been a resident of Beaumont since 1958 and was manager of the school cafeteria for twenty-five years.

Survivors include her daughter, Peggy Robinson and her husband, Larry of Beaumont; son, James Thomas Angele of Beaumont; granddaughters, Shanna Hidalgo of Beaumont, Shelee Robinson of LaPorte, and Lisa Jania Young of Tomball; eight great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Norma Foster of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Joyce Marie Sausley of Houston.

She is preceded in death by her husband, S. C. Angele; and three sisters.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 10, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont, with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday, September 9, 2011, at Broussard’s.
