Randal Lee Templin, 49, of Hamshire passed away September 3, 2011, at his residence. He was born September 4, 1961, in Shreveport, Louisiana to Jerry Templin and Carlene Mills Templin. Randall had lived in the Hamshire area since 1963, and was a truck driver most of his life. He was a friend to all and was always there when a friend was in need. He often offered his Bar B Q and cooking skills for benefits, enjoyed learning military history and a big John Wayne fan.

Randall is survived by his father, Jerry Templin and his wife, Patsy of Olton; brother, Ron Templin and his wife, Lisa of Ballground, Georgia; sister, Lisa Blasig and her husband, Michael of LaGrange; nephew, Scott Blasig of College Station; nieces, Jill Blasig of College Station and Addison Templin of Ballground, Georgia; and a host of family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carlene Templin; grandmother, Ollie Richardson; grandfather, Jesse Templin and grandparents, Buck and Velda Mills.

Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011 at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive, in Winnie with burial in Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at Broussard’s.
