Jack Holt, 58, of Silsbee, died September 3, 2011, at Methodist Hospital in Houston.  Born November 10, 1952, in Amarillo, Texas, he was the son of Juanita Shelly Holt and Jack Vernon Holt, Sr.  A resident of Silsbee for the past twelve years, Jack was a field engineer with Jacobs Engineering in Houston.

Jack is survived by his wife, Corkey Holt of Silsbee; son, Chad Holt and his wife Michelle and their children Jacob and Gage all of Borger; daughter, Melanie Tumbleson and her husband, Jason and their children, Nathan, Hannah, and Hailey all of Houston; sister, Nicki Holt Nail and her husband, Anthony of Wentzville, Missouri and their children, Becky Colbert and Jason Nail; and brother, David Holt of Hazel Green, Alabama.

His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 7, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont followed by interment in Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of his family and friends will be Tuesday evening, September 6, 2011, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
