Nona Faye Braquet Moss, 72, of Nederland, died Thursday, September 1, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Mary, Port Arthur. Born October 27, 1938, to Rena Broussard and Calvin Joseph Braquet in Scott, Louisiana, she was a lifelong resident of the Mid-County area. Nona Faye loved cooking and antiquing, enjoyed celebrating Christmas, and loved her family dearly.    She is survived by her husband, Melvin L. Moss of Nederland; daughters, Deborah Ann Cessac and her husband, Mike of Beaumont and Darlene Faye Jones and her husband, Luther of Vidor; grandchildren, Amber James, Amy Lindow, and Ashley Baxter; four step grandchildren, two great grandchildren; six step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.    Nona is preceded in death by her parents, Calvin and Rena Braquet; and brother, Macolm Braquet. Her funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 4, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland, with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.
