Dennis William Knabeschuh, 58, of Beaumont died August 28, 2011 at his residence.  Born December 11, 1952 in Louisville, Kentucky, he was the son of Anna Mae Richards Knabeschuh and Louis Henry Knabeschuh.   Dennis was self employed as a carpenter.  Dennis had a sometimes difficult life, but a good heart and was always ready to lend a hand to a friend.  He had a real talent for woodworking and built many beautiful pieces, including a dining room hutch for his parents.  He won a Texas State Golden Hammer Award for the hutch while in high school.  He attended both Forest Park and French High Schools in Beaumont, graduating from French High.

Dennis is survived by his parents, Louis and Anna Knabeschuh of Beaumont; brothers, Don Knabeschuh of Houston and Louis H. Knabeschuh, Jr. and his wife, Shannon of Beaumont; sisters, Susan Knabeschuh, Linda Moncla, and Joan Knabeschuh all of Beaumont and Janet Chase and her husband, Ben of Plano; numerous nieces and nephews; and special friends, Cordell DeLeon and his wife of Beaumont.

A Memorial Service will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 3, 2011 at Broussard’s, 1605 N Major Drive, Beaumont.
