Dudward Wayne Gore, 80, of Kountze entered into eternal rest Sunday, August 28, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.  He was born September 26, 1930, in Honey Island to Lorene Cochran Gore and Dennard Cecil Gore. He was a retired carpenter with Gulf Port Crating/Export Crating in Houston.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Bernice Lorraine Kliem Gore; sons, Ronald Wayne Gore and his wife, Nong, Glenn Edwin Gore and Martha; daughter, Sharon Denise Gore; sister, Joyce Gore Esclovon;grandchildren, Clayton Glenn Gore, Michael Scott Gore and his wife, Kristi, Adam Wayne Gore, Chad Spencer Gore and his wife, Jennifer, Christopher Wayne Gore and his wife, Bridget, Jennifer Ann Gore Keene and her husband Alan, Aryn Lorraine Wood and her fiance Andrew Mason, and Patrick Scott Wood; great grandchildren, Nathan, Kennedy, Aaron, Ireland, Georgia, Brindee, and Grant.

Serving as pallbearers will be grandsons, Clay Gore, Mike Gore, Adam Gore, Chad Gore, Chris Gore, and Doug McCormick; and honorary pallbearer, Patrick Wood.
