Celia Trevino, 66, of Winnie died Friday, August 26, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.

A native of Durango, Mexico, she was born June 17, 1945, to Francisca Diaz and Francisco Cuevas. She was a resident of the area for 29 years, an employee of Sonic Drive-Inn for over 18 years and a member of St. Louis Catholic Church.

She is survived by her husband, Candelario Trevino; sons, Ramon Trevino and his wife, Jennifer, Jose Trevino and his wife, Concepcion, Juan Trevino, Caldenario “Cando” Trevino and his wife, Lynette, all of Winnie; and Gabriel Trevino of Mexico; daughters, Sylvia Trevino, of Lewisville, and Marcelia Chavez of Winnie; brothers, Ramundo Cuevas, Andres Cuevas, and Manuel Cuevas, all of Mexico; and twenty three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 31, 2011, at St Louis Catholic Church, 315 W Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at the Church. Cremation will be under the direction of Broussard’s in Winnie.
