Marion Paul “Buddy” Danna, 80, of Bevil Oaks died Friday, August 26, 2011, at his home.

He served his country in the United States Air Force and served two tours in Vietnam. Buddy was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross and the Purple Heart medals.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Danna; son, Marion Paul Danna, Jr. and his wife, Danielle of Port Arthur; daughters, Terry Cerami of Bevil Oaks and Carlis Halfant and her husband, Jerry of Charlottesville, Virginia; sister, Carlis Cole and her husband, Charles of Bevil Oaks; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, August 29, 2011, at Haven of Rest, Hwy 90 West, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont.  A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, August 28, 2011, 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
