Alicia "Licha" Quintero Villarreal 
April 25, 1917 - August 26, 2011

Alicia “Licha” Quintero Villarreal, 94, of Eagle Pass, Texas died Friday, August 26, 2011, in Clute, Texas.

She had lived in the Beaumont area forty years before moving to San Antonio and then to Clute, Texas.

Alicia is survived by her children, Luciano L. Villarreal and his wife, Catalina of Port Arthur, Nelda Spell and her husband, Wynn of Clute, Amalia Sikes and her husband, Tommy of San Antonio, Elisa Torres of Clute, Peter Paul Villarreal and his wife, Mary of Beaumont, and Gerardo A. Villarreal and his wife, Vicki of Nederland; eighteen grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren; sister, Maria Gonzales of Eagle Pass; and brothers, Frank Quintero of Monterrey, Mexico and Oscar Quintero of Fort Wayne, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Luciano Villarreal; parents, Mathias and Maria Quintero; sisters, Reginia Quintero, Lola Gonzales, and Lala Quintero; and brother, Antonio Quintero.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 30, 2011, at Cristo Rey Catholic Church, 767 Avenue A, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont with burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont.  A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, August 29, 2011, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary to start at 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
