Joyce Toups Castille Armstrong, 73, of Nederland, died Sunday, August 21, 2011, at a private care facility in Port Arthur.  Born November 22, 1937, in Abbeville, Louisiana to Elda Hartman and Adrian Toups, she was a resident of the Mid-County area most of her life.

Joyce is survived by her daughter, Paige McDonald and her husband, Brent of Nederland; stepdaughters, Barbara Fournier and her husband, Paul of Delta, Ohio and Becky Castille of Bridge City; and grandchildren, Landon and Lane McDonald, and Lisa Rutherford.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.H. “Buddy” Armstrong; and son, Mark Adrian Jones.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 24, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland, with burial to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, August 23, 2011, at Broussard’s.
