Nemesia Marcos Itchon, 91, of Beaumont, died Saturday, August 20, 2011.  A native of Villasis, Pangasinan, Philippines; Mrs. Itchon was born December 19, 1919, to Monica M. Marcos and Toribio M. Marcos and had been a resident of Beaumont since 1983.

Mrs. Itchon enjoyed going to the Best Years Center where she participated in senior aerobics and ceramics.  She also loved to sew and was an amazing cook.

Survivors include her children, Wilma I. Pascua and her husband, Melchor of Beaumont, Texas, Alejandro M. Itchon and his wife, Juliet of Katy, Texas, Elizardo M. Itchon and his wife, Virginia of Chino Hills, California and Emily J. Ratcliff and her husband, Walton of Lockhart, Texas; grandchildren, Penelope Fletcher and her husband, Swift of Spring, Texas,  Michelle Pascua and Michael Caeg of Houston, Texas, Peter Itchon, Jeannie Itchon Encarnacion and her husband, Shaun, and Andrew Itchon all of Katy, Texas, Noel Itchon, Earle Itchon and Elmer Itchon all of Chino Hills, California; great-grandchildren, Melina Fletcher, Robert Fletcher, Ryan Fletcher, Michael Pascua Caeg, Jr., and Ethan Blake Encarnacion; and her brother, Cristeto Marcos and his wife, Patrocinio (Zeny) of Monterey, California.

She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-six years, Pedro Itchon; and daughter, Maria Concepcion.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011, at St. Jude Thaddeus Catholic Church, 6825 Gladys Avenue, Beaumont with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. Friday, August 26, 2011, at Broussard’s.
