Enno “Ed” Koehn, 75, of Beaumont, died Monday, August 15, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. Ed was born in New York, New York on April 29, 1936, to Anna Sievers Koehn and Theodore Koehn. He received his doctorate in Civil Engineering and was a professor at Lamar University in the Civil Engineering Department.
Survivors include his wife of forty-three years, Carol Koehn of Beaumont; sons, William Enno Koehn and his wife, Cynthia of Houston, and James Frederick Koehn and his wife, Kathleen of Chadron, Nebraska; grandchildren, Lars William Koehn and Brett Alexander Koehn; and many other loving family members.
Ed is preceded in death by his parents, Anna and Theodore Koehn; brother, Helmut; and sister, Gertrude.
His memorial service will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, August 20, 2011, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, 680 Calder Avenue, Beaumont, followed by an enichment in St. Mark’s Columbarium, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A reception of family and friends will follow his service in the Cloister Room at St. Mark's Episcopal Church.
