Lucille M. Lequet, 76, of Port Neches, died Sunday, August 14, 2011.  She was born on December 14, 1934, to Louise Margaret Lasin and John Byrd Cash in San Bernardino, California.  Lucille was known as a strong willed, good hearted and compassionate woman who loved everyone and had a heart of gold.  She enjoyed video games and liked Elvis. 

Lucille is survived by her sons, Jean P. Lequet, Jr. of Groves and Randy A. Lequet and his wife, Terri of Port Neches; daughters, Margie Ripple of Houston and Pam Barbosa and her husband, Henry of Port Arthur; grandchildren, Michael Lequet, Amber Chisholm, Erica Adams, Wendy Lunsford, Amy Lallande, Jason Southern, Joshua Barbosa, Jeremy Barbosa, Joseph Barbosa, James Barbosa, and Christian Gutierrez;  twelve great grandchildren; brother, John Cash of Jasper; and sister, Duesta Davis of Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Jean Pierre Lequet, Sr.

Her funeral service will be at 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2011, at Broussard's, 505 12th Street, Nederland with gathering of family and friends beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the time of service.  Interment will follow at 10:00a.m., Thursday, August 18, 2011, at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive, Houston, under the direction of Broussard’s.
