Mary L. Crawford, 72, of Silsbee died Thursday, August 11, 2011, in Beaumont.

Mary was born in Merriville, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of the area. She was a respiratory therapist.

She is survived by her children, Autrey Lee Crawford, Jr. and his wife, April of Fred, William “Bee” Crawford of Beaumont, Trish Stivner of Vidor, and Michael Crawford and his wife, Melinda of Silsbee; sisters, Betty Jo McCabe of Vidor, Nettie Harvey and her husband, Rodney of Kirbyville, and Nancy O’Quinn and her husband, Simon of Silsbee; brothers, John Rountree of Kountze, Bill Rountree and his wife, Mona of Nederland, and David Rountree and his wife, Linda of Silsbee; eight grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; special niece, Connie Bucannon of Gist; special nephew, James Seawright of Silsbee; and numerous other nieces and nephews she thought a lot of.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph N. Rountree; mother, Netttie D. Rountree; brothers, Kenneth and Leroy Cain; and sisters, Margaret Langston and Barbara Patrick.

Funeral service will be 4:00 P.M. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Hooks Cemetery in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will also be Saturday, August 13, 2011, from 12:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at Broussard’s.
