Adam Swanson, 41, of Groves, died Wednesday, August 3, 2011, in Jacksonville, Texas.  Born December 19, 1969, to Catherine Elaine Swanson, he was a lifelong resident of the Mid-County area.  Adam was a 1988 graduate of Port Neches-Groves High School.  He was known for being mechanically inclined, able to work well with his hands, and enjoyed fishing and watching NASCAR.

Adam is survived by his mother, Cathy Williams and her husband, Clif “C.J.” of Nederland; and a host of relatives and friends. 

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 9, 2011, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.
