Hallie White, 86, of Silsbee died Tuesday, August 2, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont.  Born June 18, 1925, in Coldspring, Texas, Hallie had been a resident of Hardin County for sixty years and  retired with the Texas Department on Aging.

Survivors include her daughters, Toni Haynes of Kountze, Peggy Foster of Silsbee, Franceta Green of California, and Ura Johnson of Georgia; eight grandchildren; and fourteen great grandchildren.

A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 3, 2011, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Rd., Silsbee.  Cremation arrangements are being handled by Broussard’s Crematorium.
