Thomas H. Johnson, Jr., 84, of Nederland, died Sunday, July 24, 2011.  Born September 19, 1926, in Beaumont to Vada Lucille Spangler and Thomas Henry Johnson, Sr., he was a life long resident of the Mid-County area. Thomas retired after serving over thirty-eight years of pipefitting employment with the Union 76 Refinery.  He was also a veteran of the United States Navy and during his time in the service, fought in World War II.  Thomas enjoyed travel, woodworking, fishing, and was always working with his hands. 

He is survived by his wife of sixty-three years, Eloise Johnson of Nederland; daughters, Carolyn Ann Foster and her husband, Wilford of Dallas and Linda Riley and her husband, Delbert of San Marcos; sons, Thomas H. Johnson III of Nederland, and Kenneth Michael Johnson and his wife, Laura of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; stepsons, Andrew and Stephen Rundall; grandchildren, Dr. Kimberly Reynolds and her husband, Dr. Dan Reynolds of Dallas, Phillip Chatham, Rachel Beth Riley, Candy Johnson and Patrick Johnson; two great grandchildren; and brother, Bill Johnson of Beaumont.

Thomas is preceded in death by his parents, Vada and Thomas Johnson, Sr.

A family committal will be held at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, in Port Neches under the direction of Broussard's, 505 12th Street, Nederland.
