Joseph Presley Frederick, Jr., 53, of Beaumont, died Monday, July 18, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, he was born October 8, 1957, to Virgie Hilliard Frederick and Joseph Frederick, Sr.   Joseph loved cars and sailing. He enjoyed being around people and easily made friends no matter where he went.  

Survivors include his parents, Virgie and Joseph Frederick, Sr. of Beaumont; brother, John Frederick and his wife, Karen of Nederland; sister, Karol Hutson of College Station; nephew, Joseph Hutson; nieces, Julie White, Tara Madden and her husband, Peter and April Dallis and her husband, Costa; great-nieces, Ireland White, Sophie Dallis, Lola Madden and Ruby Madden; and great-nephews, Andreas Dallis, Tommy Dallis and Thoe Dallis.

Joseph was loved by his family and will be missed dearly.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with interment to follow at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.  A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 21, 2011, at Broussard’s.
