LeRoy Dubose, 56, of Hamshire died July 16, 2011 at Memorial Herman Hospital of Houston.

A native of Beaumont he was born on December 9, 1954 to William LeRoy DuBose, Sr. and Lois Marie Mott DuBose.  LeRoy worked as a fitter/welder for Ohmstead in Beaumont. He loved his family and grandchildren, enjoyed fishing, playing golf and gardening.

LeRoy is survived by his wife, Gwen DuBose; mother, Lois DuBose Melanson both of Hamshire; daughter, Leslie DuBose of Kaufman; step-son, Marcus Bruner of Beaumont; step-daughters, Shandra Dene’ White of Bridge City and Deanna Bruner of Hamshire; brothers, Carson Melanson and his wife, Renee of Hamshire and Joey Melanson and his wife, Renee of Nederland; sisters, Brenda Skinner and her husband, Bill and Darlene Melancon and her husband, Charles all of Hamshire; four grandchildren and numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at Broussard’s.
