Unita Sattler, 95, of Winnie died July 17, 2011, in Lumberton. She was born on July 20, 1916, at Church Point, Louisiana. Unita lived most of her life in the Port Neches-Winnie areas and was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Winnie

She is survived by her sons, Henry Sattler and his wife, Janice of Sour Lake and Phillip “Reggie” Sattler and his wife, Jeanette of Winnie; daughter, Phyllis Girouard and her husband, Ronnie of Centralia, Illinois; sister, Mable Fontenot of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Shana Wilson, Shella Sattler, Shea Sattler, Doug Girouard, Candy Girouard, Brady Girouard, Corey Sattler and Kimberly Broussard; great-grandchildren, Courtney McCarson, Cash McCarson, Gage Sattler, Gunner Sattler, Josh Girouard, Jaycee Girouard, Leah Wade, Cole Girouard, Wyatt Girouard, Cody Broussard, Blake Broussard and Kayten Sattler; and numerous relatives and friends.

Unita was preceded in death by her husband, Charles H. Sattler.

A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Friday, July 22, 2011, at St. Louis Catholic Church, 315 W. Buccaneer Drive with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Thursday, July 21, 2011, with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
