Andrew Lawrence Petkovsek, Jr., 84, of LaBelle, died Monday, July 04, 2011, at The Clairmont. A native and lifelong resident of the Beaumont area, he was born to Mary Alzena Aubey Petkovsek and Andrew Lawrence Petkovsek, Sr. on July 31, 1926. A World War II Navy Veteran, Andrew retired from Mobil Oil as yard utility supervisor.   Survivors include his wife, Aline “Bonnie” Petkovsek of LaBelle; three sons, Paul M. Petkovsek and his wife, Gayle of Anahuac, Warren G. Petkovsek and his wife, Myra of Lumberton and Rene’ Petkovsek of Beaumont; daughter, Mary Agnes Petkovsek and her husband, Ross Jackson of Cedar Park; brothers, G.J. “Jerry” Petkovsek and Charles L. Petkovsek, both of Beaumont and V.A. “Vic” Petkovsek of Lumberton; grandchildren Shelley Petkovsek-Bleekman and her husband, Craig, Stephanie Brasher and her husband, Stephen, Madison Jackson, Ryan Boyles, Andrew Petkovsek & wife, Maegan, Kyle Petkovsek and his wife, Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Carson Brasher, Matthew Brasher, Hannah Brasher, Ty Brasher, Parker Boyles, Brayden Boyles, Micah Villareal, Conway Petkovsek, Logan Petkovsek and Luke Petkovsek; and brother-in-law, Ralph Williams of Nederland.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10:00 a.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011, at St. Mary Catholic Church, 9894 Gilbert Road, with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 6, 2011, at Broussard’s, with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 p.m.
