Ronald “Ron” Boldt, 71, of Beaumont went home to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on June 28, 2011.   He was born May 4, 1940, in Chicago, Illinois to Helen Fayes Boldt and Harry Boldt. A thirty year Beaumont resident, he retired with the United States Department of Transportation and Maritime Administration as a marine surveyor and was a United States Navy veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Boldt of Beaumont; children, David Boldt and his wife, Rhonda of Dallas, Kathy Boldt Breaux and her husband, Paul of Beaumont, Kris Vigil and her husband, Louis of Durango, Colorado, Dan Boldt of Beaumont, and Carolyn Edwards and her husband, John of Beaumont; seven grandchildren; and brother, Ralph Boldt and his wife, Irene of Chicago, Illinois. 

His committal service will be  10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 30, 2011, at Broussard’s Crematorium, 5150 Stivers, Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
