Bobbie Gerald Hurst, 75, of Beaumont, died Saturday, June 25, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. 

Born January 5, 1936, in Grapevine, Bobbie had been a resident of the Beaumont area most of his life and was a designer for the oil industry.  He was a United States Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Betty Hurst of Beaumont; and sister, Bette Morris of Lewisville, Texas.

A family committal was held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
