Anna E. Heartfield, 86, of Beaumont passed away, Friday, June 17, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth in Beaumont. 

Born October 14, 1924, in Weidyken, Germany to Sophie Wuskee Gross and Gustav Gross;  Anna had been a resident of the Beaumont area since 1945.

Survivors include her husband, Richard R. Heartfield of Beaumont; daughter, Nancy H. Maxwell; and her son, James D. Heartfield both of Beaumont; sister, Vera Lauhoff of Portland, Texas; brother, Guss Gross of Slidell, Louisiana; several nieces; and nephews, Daryl Lauhoff and Randy Lauhoff.

Her funeral service will be 2:00p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday, June 23, 2011, at Broussard’s.
