Lothell Rosier Tanton Gibson
September 3, 1926 - June 19, 2011

Lothell Rosier Tanton-Gibson, 84, of Beaumont went to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 19, 2011, at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.

Lothell was a life long resident of the area and was a chief operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company. She was also a member of Altrusa Club and Pioneers.

She is survived by her daughter, Carolyn Tanton Jackson and her husband, Tom of Beaumont; son, Terry Tanton and his wife, Linda of Silsbee; grandchildren, Rene` Kain, Regina Bell and her husband, Danny, Stephanie Norman and her husband, William, Kimberly Russ Bonura and her husband, Mike, Terry Tanton, and Lori Chamberlain; great grandchildren, Adam Kain, Alyssa Kain, Isaac Kain, Eli Kain, Joshua Watts, Jessica Bell, Amanda Norman Buford and her husband, Royce, Melisa Norman Riley and her husband, Bryan, William Norman, Brittany Tanton, and Alexis Tanton; great-great grandchildren, Easton Buford, Haley Buford, and Madison Riley; and sister, Flo Ellen Rosier Stark and her husband, Carl of Silsbee.

Lothell is preceded in death by her parents, Ogden and Edith Rosier; husbands, L.C. Tanton and Jimmy Gibson; sons, Eddie Lynn Tanton and Lester Tanton; and grandson, Jeffrey Tanton.

Funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21, 2011, at Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee with burial to follow at Felps Cemetery in Thicket. Pallbearers will be, Terry Tanton, William Norman, Mike Bonura, Joshua Watts, Adam Kain, and Royce Buford. A gathering of family and friends will be Monday, June 20, 2011, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. also at Broussard's in Silsbee.
