James Frank Elliott, 82, of  Beaumont died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.  He was born in Somerville,Texas on June 2, 1929, to Dolly Thames Elliott and James Frank Elliott, Sr.  An Orange resident for seventy years, he was a retired electrician with I.B.E.W. Local #479.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include his wife, Dorothy of Beaumont; sons, Steve Gilbert and his wife, Sue of Beaumont and Patrick Elliott and his wife, Selena of Mansfield; grandchildren, Chris Gilbert, Amanda Gilbert, and Morgan Elliott, Stacie Allen and her husband, Lee, and Jay Wester; great-grandchildren, Claire Marie Gilbert, Brock Gilbert, Taylor Gilbert, Madeline Allen, and Collin Allen; and other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his son, David Gilbert.

A private family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium under the direction of  Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.
