Colleen Kay Vice 
November 30, 1952 - June 17, 2011

Colleen Kay Vice, 58, of Honey Island, died Friday, June 17, 2011 at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth. Colleen was born November 30, 1952 in San Diego, California to Earl and Maxine (King) DeLong. She had resided in Honey Island for the past ten years. Colleen was a Sergeant with the Texas Department of Criminal Justice and worked at the LeBlanc Unit in Beaumont.

 

She is survived by her husband, Dennis Vice of Honey Island; her children, Brandi Vice of Woodville, Ludren Vice of Honey Island, Dennis Vice, Jr. of Seabrook, Damus Vice and his wife Carrabie of Lake Jackson, Dawn Vice McCants and her husband Jermaine of Pensacola, Florida; her mother, Maxine DeLong of Appling, Georgia; her sister, Barbara Lunkwitz of Locust Grove, Oklahoma; and nine grandchildren.

 

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with burial to follow at Jordan Cemetery in Honey Island. A gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
