Alma Grantham Curran, 93, of Kountze, died Tuesday, June 7, 2011, in Fannett.  Alma was born June 3, 1918, in Glenmora, Louisiana to Calvin and Ella Eliza (Elliott) Grantham.  A forty –six year resident of Kountze, she was a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard Curran of Kountze; daughter, Janis Oubre Holland of Nederland; granddaughters, Stacy Mendoza and her husband, Ismael of Beaumont and Jennifer Dobyns of Nederland; and great grandchildren, Kymberli Mendoza, Bryttani Mendoza, Keithen Dobyns, and Cassidy Dobyns.

Her memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 11, 2011, at Broussard’s, 530 W. Monroe, Kountze with a gathering of her family and friends beginning at 10:00 a.m. until service time.  Cremation arrangements are being handled under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
