Robert “Rob” Delton Massey III, 27, of Lumberton died Monday, May 30, 2011, at his residence. Rob was born May 7, 1984, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Glynis Holley and Robert Massey, Jr.  He was a paint technician with AMC Paint and Body.

Survivors include his wife, Heather Renee Carrell of Lumberton; step-daughters, Hannah Hazen and Kailee Hazen; mother and step-father, Glynis and Dan Holley of Coldspring; father, Robert Massey, Jr. of Onalaska; sisters, Brandi Massey, Kristi Holley, and Naomi Holley; brother, Cody Holley; grandmother, Lola Holley; grandfathers, Charles Lookout and Elson Holley; niece, Michelle Raven Massey; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Nell Carrell and Arthur Spangler; brothers-in-law, Sean Carrell and Ryan Parsons and his wife, Cierra; step-grandmothers, Mary Johnson and Linda Spangler; and many other family members and friends.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Alyssa Jayden Massey; and grandmother, Betty Lookout.

His funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 4, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 N. Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Friday, June 3, 2011, at Broussard’s.  Cremation arrangements are being handled under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
