Donald Lee Jones, 65, of Hemphill, died Friday, May 27, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

He was born November 12, 1945, in Port Arthur, to Mary Alice Gates Jones and Harry Thomas Jones and had been a resident of Hemphill, Texas.  Donald was a drafting supervisor for CB&I Matrix and was a United States Navy veteran having served in Vietnam.

Survivors include his wife, Janet Jones of Hemphill; daughter, Brenda Allen and her husband, Conly of Lumberton; daughter, Becky Babin and her husband, Mike of Orangefield; brother, Tom Jones of Port Arthur; grandsons, Chris Allen, Brayden Babin, and Zach Babin; and granddaughters, Haley Allen and Emma Babin.

His funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 31, 2011, at Broussard’s.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Broussard’s.
