May H. Ray, 99, of Village Mills died Thursday, May 26, 2011, at Silsbee Oaks Health Care in Silsbee.

May was born in Adrian, Texas and lived in Port Arthur for nineteen years before moving to Village Mills in 2009, where she was a housewife.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda Graham and her husband David of Village Mills; sister, Cora Lee Ledbetter of Village Mills; three grandchildren; and numerous great and great-great grandchildren.

May is preceded in death by her husband, Othell Ray; daughters, Willie Maude Judd and Bobbie Jean Little; and grandson, Eddie Judd.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, May 30, 2011, at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Silsbee under the direction of Broussard’s, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with burial at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze.  A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday, May 29, 2011, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
