Julianne Marcy Tutt, 62, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, May 17, 2011, at Harbor Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont.

Born July 7, 1948, in Fresno, Texas to Edith Patton Marcy and Wayne Marcy; she had lived in the Beaumont area most of her life and was retired school teacher having taught at Amelia Elementary and Dishman Elementary.

Survivors include her sons, Dee Downer and his wife, Anissa of Beaumont, and Brynn D. Tutt and his wife, Holli of Spring; daughter, Shannon L. Smith and her husband, Bret of Dallas; grandchildren, Renee, Devin, Slade, Sean, Abbi, Harris, and Hudson; brothers, Wayne Marcy, Danny Marcy, and Gordon Marcy; and sisters, Anna Taylor, and Renda Thomas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Roger Tutt.

A gathering of her family and friends will begin at 4:00 p.m. with her memorial service at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 19, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont.  A family committal will be held at Broussard’s Crematorium.
