Robert Elmo Heyroth, 88, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011, at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont.

Mr. Heyroth was born October 23, 1922, in Iredell, Texas to Mattie B Martin Heyroth and Elmo Bennie Heyroth and had been a resident of the Beaumont area since 1949.  He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran having served in World War II and retired from Beaumont Production Credit Association after thirty-four years of service.

Survivors include his daughter, Debby Morrison of Euless, Texas; son, Gary Heyroth of Boerne, Texas; grandchildren, Jody Heyroth of Littleton, Colorado, Jason Morrison of Arlington, Texas, Darren Morrison and Kristen Baxter both of Houston, Texas, and Jeff Heyroth of Boerne, Texas; great grandchildren, Shelby Morrison and Sydney Morrison both of Houston; and his dear friend, Dorothy Timberlake.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Pauline Heyroth; parents; sisters, Mary and Jo; and his grandson, Jesse Robert Heyroth.

His graveside service will be 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park under the direction of Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Saturday, May 14, 2011, at Broussard’s.
