James Michael Parfait, 86, of Vidor died April 23, 2011, in Victoria, Texas.

He was born on January 19, 1925, to Cleveland and Genevieve Parfait; James was a retired railroad clerk with Southern Pacific.

He is survived by his sons, Jody Parfait and his wife Michelle, James Parfait, Jr., and Joe Parfait all of Vidor; daughters, Janice Cinco of Virginia, Julie Zavalla and her husband Robert of Victoria and Jeannie Trevil and her husband Larry of Kingwood; brother, Hal Parfait; sister, Velma Busby and her husband Dick all of Liberty; twenty-two grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2011, at Broussard’s, 134 W. Buccaneer Drive in Winnie with burial to follow at Fairview Cemetery. A gathering of his family and friends will be Tuesday, April 26, 2011, 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 6:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
