Betty Ann McBride Barclay, 80, of Port Neches and formerly of Lumberton, died Friday, April 22, 2011 at Oak Brook Health Care Center in White House, Texas. Born in San Augustine, Texas on March 15, 1931, she was the daughter of G. W. and Alma Louise Russell McBride.  Betty was employed with Target as a sales clerk and she and her husband were former longtime members of the Church of Christ in Lumberton. They were also avid volunteers for Texas Parks and Wildlife in the Big Thicket National Preserve.   Betty was survived by several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Barclay; sisters, Ramona McBride, Louise Cassidy, Lois Braquet, and Billie Krause; and brothers, Bernice McBride and Tribus McBride.  

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, April 25, 2011 at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Beaumont under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.  A gathering of family and friends will be Sunday evening, April 24, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
