Maren “Maw” Roberts, 73, of Bevil Oaks died Wednesday, April 20, 2011, at her residence.  She was born July 9, 1937, in Willmar, Minnesota to Signe Peggy Enger Nelson and Harold Oliver Nelson.  A resident of Bevil Oaks since 1976, she retired with L and W X-ray.

Survivors include her children, Kim Roberts, Keith Roberts and his wife, Piper, and Patricia Behnken and her husband, Noel all of Bevil Oaks; grandchildren, Ryan Behnken, Reba Behnken, Chris Behnken and his wife Sonja, Nicole Behnken, Austin Roberts, and Tyler Roberts; great granddaughter, Chesinee Wallace; and brother, Craig Nelson.

Her funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, April 25, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Beaumont. A gathering of her family and friends will be Saturday, April 23, 2011, from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m., at Broussard’s.
