Lucile Nadine England, 93, of Port Arthur, died Tuesday, April 12, 2011, at the Medical Center of Southeast Texas. Born August 19, 1917 in Venice, IL to Mary A. Cavner and Clarence W. Cease, she lived most of her life in Granite City, IL and Wesley Chapel, FL. Lu was in the Port Arthur area for 11 years.
She is survived by her nieces, Mary Kay and her husband John Steinhauer of Nederland, Vicki L. Buechler and her husband Norman of Highland, IL, and Catherine S. Hawkins and her husband Stan of Belleville, IL; nephew, Alan R. England and his wife Nury of Houston; great nieces, Stacey Arnaud, Tricia Kimball, Jackie Steinhauer and Vania England; great nephews, Jeff Pope, Chris Pope, David Buechler, and Neal England; twelve great great nieces and nephews; and her devoted caregiver for the last seven years, Marilyn H. Sigur.
Lu is preceded in death by her parents; husband, George W. England; and sister, Helen L. Galvin.
Her graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2011, at Waco Memorial Park Cemetery, 6623 South Interstate Highway 35, Waco, Texas, 76706, under the direction of Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.
