Marjorie Seaux, 80, of Port Arthur died April 8, 2011 at Park Manor of Cyfair in Houston.  Born December 26, 1930 in Mamou, Louisiana, Marjorie was the daughter of Vernice Ardoin LaBorde and Felix LaBorde, Sr.  She was a long time resident of Port Arthur before residing in Houston.

She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Friedl of Houston, Kathryn Garcia and her husband Gilbert of Port Arthur, Jacquelyn Armentor and her husband  Carroll of Lafayette, Louisiana, and Arlene Whitting of Houston; brother, Felix LaBorde; grandchildren, Chad Friedl, Jay Friedl, Ronnie Nash, Jamie Nash, Leann Garcia, Wayne Garcia, Garrett Armentor, and Meghan Armentor Deroun; and eighteen great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Leland LaBorde; and sister, Merlene Badgett.

Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 16, 2011 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland followed by burial at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening, April 15, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. with a rosary recited at 7:00 p.m. at Broussard’s.
