Betty White Carey, 85, of Beaumont, died Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Hardeman Memorial Hospital in Quanah.  She was born September 3, 1925, in Beaumont, to Ben and Myrtle White. Betty married Robert Morris Carey on March 10, 1945.

Survivors include her son, Robert M. Carey, Jr. and his wife Mary of Crowell; daughter, Sara Lynn Beers-Loviette and her husband Skeet of Newton; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; brother; and husband.

A graveside service will be 1:00 p.m., Saturday, April 9, 2011, at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, 4955 Pine Street, Beaumont, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. A gathering of family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Friday, April 8, 2011, at Broussard’s.
