William S. “Bill” Buckland, 54, of Deer Park, died Saturday, April 2, 2011. Born June 1, 1956 to A.E. and Lucy Patricia Foulis Buckland, Sr. in Miami, Florida, he was a resident of the Deer Park area for twenty-two years. Bill was a kind and gentle man who would do anything to help anyone. A welder by trade, he was a metal fabricator and also designed decorative pieces. Survivors include his wife Mary Sue Buckland of Deer Park; children, Chelsea Oliver of California and Katie Oliver of Deer Park; sister, Barbara Buckland of Illinois; brother, Buck Buckland of Pasadena; many nieces and nephews and other loving family members. His funeral service will be 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont, with burial to follow at Magnolia Cemetery. A gathering of his family and friends will be 12:00 p.m. until the time of his service at Broussard’s. Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
