Linda Elizabeth Morgan Wallace, 75, of Nederland, died Thursday, April 1, 2011.  Born February 18, 1936, to Hazel May and L.O. “Burr” Morgan, she was a lifelong resident of Nederland.  Linda was a graduate of Nederland High School and Lamar University, Port Arthur.  A homemaker most of her adult life, Linda never met a stranger, and found something good in everyone she met.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 49 years, Archie L. Wallace; two sons, James Wallace and Rob Wallace of Nederland; two brothers, Neal Morgan and Bob Morgan; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Linda is preceded in death by her parents, L. O. “Burr” Morgan and Hazel May Morgan; and brother, Edward Morgan.

A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2011, at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland.  A graveside service will begin at  10:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 5, 2011, at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, with Pastor Tony Miller officiating, under the direction of Broussard’s.
