Calvin Weaver, 83, of Beaumont died March 29, 2011 at Harbor Hospice.  Born February 4, 1928 in Beaton, Arkansas, he was the son of Viola Looper Weaver and George Herbert Weaver.

A resident of Texarkana, Texas for many years, and a graduate of North Heights High School, Mr. Weaver had been a resident of Beaumont for forty-seven years.  He retired from Borden as a retail sales manager.

He is survived by his wife of sixty-four years, Virginia Weaver of Beaumont; daughters, Gayle Gavrel of Seabrook and Karen Harrison and her husband Sam of Plano; daughter-in-law, DiAna Weaver of Beaumont; and grandchildren, Colton Weaver of Beaumont, Tara Weaver of Austin, and Matt Harrison of Plano.  He was preceded in death by his son, Gary Weaver; and grandson, Nicholas Gavrel.
