Rita Mary Galla, 80, of Nederland died March 25, 2011 at Oak Grove Nursing Home in Groves.  Born May 10, 1930 in Hastings, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of Elizabeth Gresco Bobal and John Bobal. 

She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Kubosh and her husband Ed of Anchorage, Alaska; grandchildren, Drew Kubosh and his wife Kristin of Highlands Ranch, Colorado, Julie Vandenbos and her husband Brent, Derrick Kubosh and his wife Lindsay, and Deana Kubosh all of Anchorage, and Tricia Kubosh Dye and her husband Chris of Scott A.F.B., Illinois; great grandchildren, Stephanie Vandenbos, Adam Vandenbos, Anna Vandenbos all of Anchorage, and Dean Kubosh, Brooke Kubosh and Landon Kubosh all of Highlands Ranch, Colorado; and niece, Kitty Jones of South Heights, Pennsylvania.  Rita was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew Paul Galla; her parents, Elizabeth and John Bobal; sisters, AnnaMary Lantzy and Betty Bobal; and brother, Johnny Bobal.

Funeral Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, April 2, 2011 at Broussard’s, 505 12th Street, Nederland followed by burial at Oak Bluff Memorial Park, Port Neches.  A gathering of family and friends will be Friday evening, April 1, 2011 from 5:00 until 8:00 at Broussard’s.
