Arthur Clifton Morrison, Sr., 90, of Beaumont, died Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Christus Hospital St. Elizabeth.

A native and lifelong resident of Beaumont, Arthur was born January 12, 1921, to Laura Cruthirds Morrison and Newt Bruce Morrison.  He was a retired project manager with Foster Wheeler Corporation and during his time with them, he worked and traveled all over the world.  Arthur was a United States Navy veteran having served in World War II.

Survivors include his wife of sixty-eight years, Audrey Morrison of Beaumont; sons, Clifton Morrison of Fannett and Glen Morrison and his wife Beth of Beaumont; grandchildren, Melinda Morrison Wilson, Jeffrey Morrison, J. C. Morrison, Joshua Morrison and his wife Shannon, Jacob Morrison and his wife Kalan, and Jennifer Morrison; and great grandchildren, Hunter Wilson, Chase Wilson, Rayne Morrison, Maegan Morrison, Kaylee Morrison, Madison Morrison, Audrey Morrison and Clark Morrison.

A gathering of his family and friends will begin at 1:00 p.m. with his funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 18, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with entombment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
