Eula Lee Bernard, 99, of Beaumont, was called home to be with her Lord on Monday, March 14, 2011, at Summer Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Born January 27, 1912, in Lufkin to Betty A. Wheat Trahan and Peter H. Trahan, Eula had been a resident of the Beaumont area since 1930.

Survivors include her daughter, Barbara Harris and her husband Donald of Beaumont; grandchildren, Donna Cole of Sour Lake, Sandi Grantham of Lumberton, Leanne St. John of Port Neches, Jimmy Harris of Vidor and Rick Gremillion of Beaumont; seven great grandchildren; and three great great grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, March 17, 2011, at Broussard’s, 1605 North Major Drive, Beaumont with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.  A gathering of her family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2011, at Broussard’s.
