Dorothy Andrews Stewart, 84, of Beaumont, died Friday, March 11, 2011, at her home. Born August 25, 1926, in Kansas City, Missouri, to George and Ruth Price Andrews, she was a resident of the Beaumont since 1954. Dorothy was part owner and manager of the Crown Motel in Beaumont.

Survivors include her son, Clifford Hughes and his wife Leah of Beaumont; sister Zella Langham of Beaumont; niece, Ruth Langham Williams of Beaumont; and nephew, Reid Langham of Beaumont.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Robert Dalton Stewart.

A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2011, at Trinity United Methodist Church, 3430 Harrison Avenue, Beaumont, with a gathering to follow in the McKnight Parlor, under the direction of Broussard’s, 2000 McFaddin, Beaumont. Cremation arrangements were held under the direction of Broussard’s Crematorium.
