Jerry Bob Martin, 68, of Winnie died March 10, 2011, at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital.

A native of Nacogdoches County, Jerry had lived in the Winnie area since 1969. Jerry was a retired Sales Manager with Knife River Quality Concrete of Beaumont and a man who loved his family and passionate about his horses.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara Wilkes Martin of Winnie; sons, Mark Martin and his wife, Tina of Vidor, Trent Wilkes and his wife Theresa of Hamshire and Brett Wilkes and his wife Nikki of Beaumont; daughters, Teresa Martin Anderson and her husband, Keith of Conroe and Glynda Nicholson of Houston; twelve grandchildren;  two great-grandchildren; brother, Joel Martin of Dallas; sisters, JoNell Lee of Shreveport, Louisiana, Jeannine Bowers and her husband Murray and Julia Jones all of Nacogdoches; sister-in-law, Carolyn Martin of Roosevelt, Oklahoma; and Beth Martin of Sulphur, Louisiana. He was preceded in death by his parents, JJimmy and Irene Speer Martin; daughter, Missy Livingston Motley; and brother, Jimmy Martin.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 12, 2011, at the First Baptist Church of Hamshire, 25304 Hwy 124, with burial to follow in Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Broussard’s, 134 West Buccaneer Drive in Winnie. A gathering of his family and friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Friday at Broussard’s.
